The finals of the Professional Latin were Wednesday night and it was very late when we finally got them. The ballroom was full, and couples were given big ovations when they danced, in particular in the last final Jive. All the dances, as it is customary for Professional Open events in Blackpool, are judged separately since the 1/8 of the final and couples get separate recalls. Tonight, the winners were Michal Malitowski and Joanna Leunis who represent England. Michal and Joanna defended their title from last year.
The second place went to the last year runners-up Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko from USA. And again, as last year, the third place went to Sergey Sourkov and Agnieszka Melnicka who dance for Russia.
The fourth place went to Maurizio Vescovo and Andra Vaidilaite from Canada. The fifth place went to Andrej Skufca and Melinda Torokgyorgy from Slovenia and on the the sixth were Stefano Di Filippo & Dasha from USA. Same placings as last year!
