We have received the following news from Kirill Belorukov and Polina Teleshova (see their profile page):
It is with excitement that we are writing to officially introduce to you our new partnership. It took some time but we have now found each other and are both feeling full of belief in one another, already truly enjoying the partnership. A new year, a new start, a new partnership ... and together with our main teacher Dekatra Lapaeva we have also come to deciding on one more "new" - we will be competing in a Professional division, which feels like a well needed and exciting challenge and a great inspiration for our growth as artists.
Both of us absolutely cannot wait to get back on the floor and we are working very hard, fully into preparing for our first competition.
Kirill with his former partner were Russian Amateur Latin champions (in RTS federation) and finalists of the major competitions such as Blackpool festival and UK Open in the main Amateur Latin category. Polina danced with her previous partner predominantly in WDSF competitions. They were finalists of the German Open Youth Latin. They were also Russian Youth Latin, Standard and 10 Dance medalists and recently the silver medalists of the WDSF Youth World Championship Latin. Good luck to them and hope to see them soon on the dance floor!
