We tried to meet Valeriu Ursache and Liana Bakhtiarova next day after they won the Professional Rising Stars Ballroom at the UK Open 2019 but they run out of time so we agreed to meet them few days after. Liana and Valeriu stayed in London for lessons and practice, and made a trip back to Bournemouth at the following weekend. It was unusually quiet at the Bournemouth International Centre and it felt so different to the busy days of the competition when we normally interview couples!
Valeriu and Liana hope to repeat their success at Blackpool and they are looking forward to the challenge!
